Monday “Think About It”

New York State is close to enacting a bill that could generate an additional $150 million in private funding for education in the state.  Titled the ‘Education Investment Tax Credit‘ the bill currently allows a tax credit for anyone supporting any type of education in New York.  Some lobbyists are arguing that the credit should only be allowed for investments in ‘public’ education. Is that fair?
